Common Core Standard:
Analyze the extent to which a filmed of live production of a story or drama stays faithful to or departs from the text or script, evaluating the choices made by the director or actors.
Have the students watch the movie after reading the novel. The students will take notes about the differences and write an essay to analyze the extent to which the filmed production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe stays faithful to or departs from the novel, evaluating the choices made by the director or actors.

Discussion Questions
The discussion questions in this novel study ask the students to connect with the themes presented in the novel. They draw the students into the story in a way that causes the students to pause and reflect, laugh and share, and sympathize with the characters they meet. The students are also asked to write narratives as well as persuasive essays.
Secret Door Foldable
This is a foldable that I do with this novel. It can be used for sequencing, vocabulary, and comprehension skills. (P.S. I accidentally say Edward instead of Edmund, whoops)
